About Dr. Erica Goudy (she/her)

Dr. Goudy (she/her) is a licensed psychologist (PSY33689) based in San Diego, CA, with a deep commitment to providing affirming and inclusive therapy for individuals of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions. She received her degree from Chicago School of Professional Psychology and has a certification in LGBT+ Public Health and Policy from George Washington University. 

As an LGBT+ affirmative therapist, Dr. Goudy creates a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their feelings, build self-acceptance, and work toward their personal goals. Dr. Goudy’s approach uses a strength based perspective and  integrates a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Therapy Behavior (DBT), Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Rogerian methods, customized to meet each client’s unique needs.

Dr. Goudy is also dedicated to supporting those facing intersectional challenges, particularly within the LGBTQ+ community, including individuals of color, transgender and nonbinary folks, and those from diverse cultural backgrounds. In addition to individual therapy, Dr. Goudy offers testing resources, aiming to improve an understanding of an individual’s diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
