Dr. Grace Ning is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY27293) with over 13 years of clinical experience. Dr. Ning received her bachelor’s degree (2006) in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego. She then obtained her master’s (2009) and doctoral degree (2013) in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University.
As a first generation Chinese American, Dr. Ning is passionate about working with immigrant communities and individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings including community health centers, outpatient mental health clinics, and nonprofit organizations. Dr. Ning has extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She utilizes a client centered and trauma informed approach to create a warm and safe space for clients to freely express themselves and to address the issues that bring them to therapy. Dr. Ning has experience in working with adults and youths on a variety of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, PTSD, acute/complex trauma, chronic pain, grief and loss, issues related to acculturation, and other life stressors. Dr. Ning is able to provide therapy in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
