Each clinician customizes care for each client. Most times we pull wisdom from various philosophie,,multiplephilosophies including Cognitive Behavioral, Psychoanalytic/ Object relations,.We oftenand Existential/ Humanistic. We may decide to use various techniques including EMDR, Hypnosis, Gottman Couples' Therapy, DBT, brief solution-focused techniques, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, etc.
What we treat
We are providing therapy for depression, PTSD/ trauma, anxiety, loss/grief and more.
A standard 53-minute psychotherapy session is offered, although more time can be requested at an additional rate.
Accepted payment methods include all major credit cards, debit cards, and Health Savings Account (HSA/FSA) cards. All payment is due at the time of service.
We have immeidate opening for MHN/Health Net, Tricare, Medicare clients as well as private pay/PPO. Some therapists are in-network with some but not other insurance. Please contact our office to inquire.
Your privacy and ability to choose your own therapist is important and private pay allows you the freedom to choose whomever is the best fit for you and decide who has access to your records.
Due to the variance in insurance coverage, Positive Psychology Inc. encourages the private pay format for those who have insurance outside of those currently accepted. We can provide services as an out-of-network provider to accommodate your particular insurance, and many clients prefer this option. Each month, we can provide you with a receipt of services (a “Super Bill”) for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement should you choose to do so. We would be happy to discuss the super bill process.
