Autism and ADHD Assessment / Evaluation

Positive Psychology Inc. psychologists celebrate brain diversity (such as Autism and ADHD), honor differences, and assist neurodivergent people to live authentically and freely. We believe the difficulty neurodivergent people face in society is not due to their inherently wrong differences but rather due to society's failure to recognize and accommodate diverse ways our brains work. This evaluation will help you identify what is easy or difficult for you to live in the neurotypical world and what types of accommodations would help you live more authentically and comfortably. 

In-person in San Diego and Los Angeles and via Telehealth for anyone in California

Tier 1 – Autism/ADHD exploration ($1800) 

This evaluation includes a clinical interview, formal assessments, and a brief write-up. It consists of a 1-page history, a 1-2 page summary of tests, diagnoses, and neurodiversity-affirming recommendations. 

Tier 2 - Comprehensive Autism or ADHD assessment ($3500). 

This evaluation includes a full report, which is usually necessary for accommodations or services, and goes more deeply into specific skills and difficulties.

Tier 3—Comprehensive Assessment ($4800) This evaluation may include IQ and Achievement testing if the child needs to test for ADHD and autism, as well as other conditions (e.g., trauma/psychosis/bipolar disorder) and specific learning disabilities or other learning/cognitive issues.
