We believe that each person has the potential to grow and realize happiness at any age. Our ultimate focus in therapy is to increase fulfillment in our lives, not merely to eliminate negativity or "symptoms." Sometimes disorders (clusters of symptoms) describe your perfect uniqueness, and we can assist you in living your authentic life. Your reaction to events or ideologies is valid and healthy, and you may feel relieved by our aid in healing and growing from them. The source of joy and the journey to get in touch with it are unique to each person. We can find solutions and resources within yourself, or your ancestral or cultural collective knowledge.
We have worked extensively with people who have recovered/developed a sense of agency and flourished despite the challenges, including the following:
We offer individual, couples, and family therapy. Our cuturally sensitive evaluation/assessment includes ADHD and Autism diagnosis. We are guests of Kumeyaay land, which is now called San Diego, California. We provide therapy and assessment in person at this location. We are providing treatment and psychological evaluations via teletherapy to anyone in California.
We are available to provide therapy in English, Mandarin Chinese, Tagalog, Waray-Waray, Japanese and Spanish.
We welcome racial, ethnic, sexual, gender, relational, spiritual, neuro, and body diversity.
We are a group of doctors (psychologists and postdoctoral fellows) who have lived experiences belonging to one or more historically excluded or marginialized groups. We have worked extensively with those who hold various intersectional heavily marginalized identities as well as those without many of them.
. We believe in social justice and maximizing people's potential. We continue to examine our privileges and biases and humbly learn to become better neighbors and advocates. We welcome diversity and stand against systemic oppression, injustice, and violence against marginalized communities. We strive to be a part of the collective force in Radical Healing and Radical Hope.
We stand in solidarity with the Black, Indigenous, Asian and Pacific Islanders, West Asian, and Latinx communities and other people of color. We challenge oppressive policies, and we are committed to being antiracists. We honor your ancestral and cultural authenticity and wisdom, which may guide us to your healing and resourcefulness.
We are committed to serving people of all sexual, gender, and relationship diversity. All of our doctors are LGBTQIA+ affirming and competent. We take a sex-positive approach and embrace relational diversity, kink/BDSM practices, and asexuality. In addition, we work closely with children and adults on topics related to sexual or gender diversity and other topics not directly related to sexual or gender identity.
We celebrate body diversity and honor differences and changes in body size, shape, appearance, and function. We believe in accepting and respecting our own bodies as they are right now instead of advocating the idea that we need to diet or achieve a specific size, shape, or ability to find contentment with how we are. We strive to be anti-ableist and actively act on making the environment more accessible.
We celebrate brain diversity and honor differences, and assist neurodivergent people to live authentically and freely. We believe the difficulty neurodivergent people face in society is not due to their difference being inherently wrong but rather due to society's failure to recognize and accommodate diverse ways our brains work. We hope to work together to understand ways that you can self-express, unmask safely, and live authentically and comfortably.
We cherish the diversity of humanity. We are committed to creating a safe space to foster healing and growth.
Yes, life poses obstacles. And we hope to support you as you find strength within you and flourish!

We welcome diversity and stand against systemic oppression, injustice, and violence against marginalized communities. We are all doctors. To obtain a doctorate, we study psychology for at least four years for a Bachelor's degree, 2 years for a Master's degree, and three years for a Doctorate degree, and complete at least three years of supervised clinical experience. Becoming a licensed psychologist in California takes at least 1.5 years of postdoctoral clinical supervised experience and passes two exams. We have decades of experience studying psychology and working with clients. We acknowledge our privilege of being able to pursue education and training and use it to support our beloved communities emotionally. We have undergone therapy during the graduate training and pursue it whenever we want.
